Dutch Design Week (DDW) is one of the world’s leading design festivals, bringing together over 2,600 designers from around the world in 120+ locations across Eindhoven. DDW 2025 explores the future of design — and the design of the future — guided by five key missions: Living Environment, Thriving Planet, Digital Futures, Health & Well-being, and Equal Society.
This year introduces Coalitions & Co/Labs — a new structural platform where designers collaborate with governments, industry, and researchers to tackle complex societal challenges. Early projects explore reconnection to water in urban planning, just transition in waste systems in Indonesia, and redesigning our food environment to favor healthy, sustainable choices.
Daily Mission Days dive into each of the five guiding themes through curated programs for professionals — combining keynotes, site visits, and deep dialogue.
In 2025, DDW also emphasizes material innovation, particularly in textiles and regenerative building, and will spotlight public design in practice through the 3-year PONT program that is investigating how to boost impact of design in government.
More than a festival, DDW is a platform for collaboration, imagination, and impact — shaping the world by design.
