From April 28 to May 4, 2025, Kyiv became the epicenter of ideas - the fourth season of Ukrainian Design and Innovation Week (UDIW) gathered an unprecedented number of visitors, partners and creators, creating a powerful synergy between design, art and innovation.

This year, the flagship event was DESIGN HALL in Mystetsky Arsenal, which for the first time appears not as a market, but as a large-scale exposition of modern design - an emotional space that united 130 brands, 4,000 m² of installations and over 10,000 spectators. Here, design sounded like the voice of the future, and each object acted as both an aesthetic statement and an idea that can be lived. This year, DESIGN HALL was supplemented by a large-scale lecture with four thematic blocks that brought together leading experts in design, architecture and contemporary art.

“It was a breakthrough that we didn’t even dare to dream of. People came to the very end, the participants were happy, many completely sold out their exhibits. The atmosphere, energy, quantity and quality of the audience — all this became a real blessing for us. We are happy to build a community around design that inspires, supports and is already shaping a new culture of the future,” share the impressions of the organizers, Anatoliy and Kateryna Roskovshenko.

Over 40 events across the city created a network of knowledge, practice and inspiration: from a workshop on checking urban accessibility by wheelchair to a mosaic master class by artist Andriy Dudchenko, from a cozy tea party with a Crimean Tatar parvarda to lectures at the KNUDT and KNUBA, workshops on plastic recycling, opening showrooms and getting acquainted with new urban meanings.

A special place in the program was occupied by the initiative "Interesting Locations of the City of Kyiv", which turned the capital into a living map of creativity - with more than 30 galleries, cafes, bars, workshops and showrooms that became part of UDIW. The 2025 season is a demonstration that Ukrainian design is strong, rooted in context and ready for dialogue with the world.
