Prishtina Sustainable Design Week

Prishtina Sustainable Design Week exists to activate design as a tool for environmental responsibility, social transformation, and systemic change.

It brings together designers, artists, architects, researchers, institutions, and citizens to rethink how we create, produce, and live, positioning regeneration as a fundamental principle embedded in every decision.

Core specific objectives of PSDW are:

• Enabling a shift in mindsets;
• Facilitate a network of bridging disciplines;
• Enable translation of ideas into action;
• Empower local ecosystems by strengthening Prishtina’s role as a hub for sustainable innovation;
• Encourage shared responsibility by enhancing the understanding of design as a tool to address environmental and social challenges collectively.

In this sense, PSDW is a platform for exchange. Still, most importantly, it is a mechanism for developing local talent, strengthening creative industries, and increasing Kosovo’s participation in global design conversations.
