Jerusalem Design Week (JDW) is Israel’s leading public platform dedicated to contemporary design, presenting a multidisciplinary program of exhibitions, installations, performances, talks, and public events.
Founded in 2011, JDW takes place annually in the historic Hansen House, Jerusalem, and revolves around a central theme that responds to local conditions while addressing globally relevant questions. Each edition invites designers, artists, architects, and researchers from Israel and abroad to develop new, site-specific works across a wide range of design disciplines.
JDW positions design as a critical tool for examining social, political, and cultural realities, using Jerusalem as a living laboratory for experimentation and discourse. The festival attracts a broad and diverse audience, including design professionals, students, international guests, and the general public, and fosters dialogue between local and global design communities.
